CASE STUDY
KENSINGTON
CINEMA ROOM
Our portfolio caught the interest of a private client, who invited us to view their property undergoing major renovations in Kensington, London. After seeing the site, we sat down with the client and interior designer to brainstorm ideas for different themed rooms. The two rooms that would be enhanced with pieces of artwork were the cinema room and the top floor bedroom.
For the cinema room, we designed a hand painted mural showing the Chicago skyline, featuring buildings that the client had fond memories of. We hand painted the mural on custom-made cabinet doors using eggshell paint to give a smooth and durable finish. The mural was also designed to subtly incorporate a cinema projector. Where painted a plug cap for the projector opening as a full moon, to hide the projector when not in use.
KENSINGTON
GUEST BEDROOM
For the top floor bedroom, we designed a Banksy-influenced London themed mural. The mural was hand painted on the headboard and duplicated on the base of the bed so that the artwork could always be seen. We incorporated traditional British landmarks such as Big Ben, a red telephone box and a Royal Mail stamp.

The client was delighted with the outcome and our artwork for this project was featured in “25 Beautiful Homes” magazine, the 'London Evening Standard' and 'Grand Designs Magazine'.
CHELTENHAM
MEADOW CAFE
The Meadow Café, located on the edge of Cox’s Meadow, has recently reopened for business after being taken over by new owners, and on 3rd-4th August the café will host Cheltenham-based artist Carren Lu who will be painting a new mural on the main inside wall of the building.
It was a chance discussion with the new owners of the Meadow Café when Carren first introduced the idea of painting a mural inside the popular café. She said: “I regularly walk my dog in the park next to the café. One morning I popped in and noticed that the walls were looking a bit bare, so I suggested putting up a mural. The owners of the cafe were really keen, so we settled on a date and that was that.” A Cheltenham café is set to get an artistic makeover courtesy of local artist Carren Lu.
